ISLAMIC STUDIES APPOINTMENT AT OTAGO
The Department of Theology and Religion are very pleased to announce that Dr Taneli Kukkonen has been appointed Senior Lecturer in Islamic Studies at Otago. Dr Kukkonen's primary research interests are in the history of Islamic theology, philosophy, and mysticism. He will take up his appointment in January 2012.
